In addition, the explosive expansion of mobile devices usage around all over the world leads to more requirements in terms of resources, environment, and security. Therefore, mobile cloud computing (MCC) paradigm emerges, and it is considered as the future technology for mobile services and applications. Furthermore, Network Coding (NC) is a novel technique that aims to improve performance and throughput in wireless communication. Our work{\textquoteright}s concern is to build a delay and throughput optimized network coding scheme with mobile cooperation for broadcast based Mobile clouds applications. Hence, after a deep literature study, we proposed a scheme that introduces the use of cooperation with Instantly Decodable Network Coding. In order to evaluate our proposition, we carried out simulation experiments to test it and compare it with relevant existing solutions. Finally, the results are very encouraging and the proposed scheme gives a satisfactory delay compared to the existing solutions.}, isbn = {978-1-4673-8224-3}, author = {Chanyour, Tarik and Saadane, Rachid} } @conference { ISI:000380432600013, title = {Network Coding for Energy Optimization and Throughput Enhancement of WideMac for IR-UWB based WSN}, booktitle = {2015 27TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MICROELECTRONICS (ICM)}, series = {International Conference on Microelectronics-ICM}, year = {2015}, note = {27th International Conference on Microelectronics (ICM), Casablanca, MOROCCO, DEC 20-23, 2015}, pages = {47-50}, abstract = {Energy and throughput optimization occupies an important place in the research area of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). These networks are a class of useful but challenging networks. Combining Network Coding (NC) and efficient scheduling in the MAC layer of such networks gives more efficiency and copes with the problem of energy waste and inefficiency management as well as transmission{\textquoteright}s lose and collision. Our work{\textquoteright}s concern is to assess the contribution of the network coding technique{\textquoteright}s introduction to improve the efficiency and optimize the energy consumption in the MAC layer of IR-UWB based WSNs. Therefore, we tested this new technique using WideMac Protocol; which is a relevant MAC protocols dedicated to WSNs based on IR-UWB. Furthermore, we used XOR coding to fit low computational capabilities requirement in such networks. Among these networks, we find Delay Tolerant Mobile Networks (DTMNs) which are a class of useful but challenging networks. Combining Network Coding (NC) and clustering for routing in such networks gives more efficiency and copes with routing reliability problem among large scale networks. Our work{\textquoteright}s concern is to build a secure network coding scheme in the presence of eavesdroppers in large-scale DTMNs. Therefore, we used a cluster based routing protocol dedicated to DTMN specificities. In addition, we used Sparse Random Linear Network Coding (SRLNC) to feat low computational capabilities requirement in such networks. Furthermore, we addressed the packets retransmission decision problem for SRLNC with a fair trade-off throughput/overhead. Besides, clustering is used to cope with the scalability problem among high scale networks. This paper combines the use of both techniques to address routing problem in Delay Tolerant Mobile Networks (DTMN). By the mean of its routing, the cluster based routing protocol we use offers opportunities for principal network coding operation, mainly the coding and decoding operations. Once a routed packet is received by the cluster head, it codes it regarding its destination cluster. The last cluster head performs decoding operation to deliver packets to their destination.}, isbn = {978-1-4799-4647-1}, author = {Chanyour, Tarik and Saadane, Rachid and Belkasmi, Mostafa} }
