The idea of this work is to integrate two switches in well-defined positions to obtain reconfigurability in frequency in the operating band of the standard DVB-H (digital video broadcasting-handheld). The antenna is printed on a substrate size 92 * 41 * 1.56 mm3 with a relative permittivity of 4.4mm. The gain of the antenna for the three state ON-ON, OFF-ON and OFF-OFF is respectively 1.75, 2.03 and 2.2 dB, respectively. {\textcopyright} 2014 IEEE.}, doi = {10.1109/MMS.2014.7088949}, url = {https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84938408930\&doi=10.1109\%2fMMS.2014.7088949\&partnerID=40\&md5=6049e90423842cc94ff9a97aa2aa92be}, author = {Lehmer, O.a and Ben Abdelouahab, F.a and Essaaidi, M.b} } @conference {Lehmer2015, title = {A new reconfigurable antenna for digital video broadcasting}, booktitle = {Mediterranean Microwave Symposium}, volume = {2015-April}, year = {2015}, note = {cited By 0}, abstract = {In this paper, a new design of a reconfigurable miniaturized planar antenna suitable for mobile handheld standard applications is presented. The proposed antenna is designed on a FR4 substrate with a relatively permittivity of 4.4, a thickness of 1.56mm and a loss tangent of 0.02. And its dimension is 18 mm {\texttimes} 80 mm2. This dimension is so reduced compared with the size of the DVB antennas, a portion of monopoly loaded and connected by three empty holes at the opposite side of the substrate, by inserting tunable inductance on the monopoly we can get a frequency reconfigurability and the antenna operates well in the DVB-H band (470-860) MHz and for some inductance value it can operate in the GSM 800 and GSM 900 band. {\textcopyright} 2014 IEEE.}, doi = {10.1109/MMS.2014.7088950}, url = {https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84938409841\&doi=10.1109\%2fMMS.2014.7088950\&partnerID=40\&md5=5739516fa1763c51b3010b40708a0c1b}, author = {Lehmer, O.a and Ben Abdelouahab, F.a and Essaaidi, M.b} }
