But, like many other metaheuristic algorithms, ant colony system (ACS) has the problem of parameters setting. In the last few years, different approaches have been proposed to deal whit this problem. Recently the use of fuzzy logic in dynamic parameters adaptation of metaheuristic algorithms is gaining a considerable interest from the researchers. In this paper, a meta model for modifying the parameters of ACS during runtime based on fuzzy logic concept is presented. The main idea is to study the effect of modifying all the parameters of the ACS on the same time on its performance. To compare the efficiency of the proposed approaches, they were applied to a set of traveling salesman problem instances. Also, a comparison with the standard ACS and some literature results are discussed. {\textcopyright} 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.}, doi = {10.1007/978-3-031-07969-6_4}, url = {https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85135092796\&doi=10.1007\%2f978-3-031-07969-6_4\&partnerID=40\&md5=319150216144782de4bcb5697185e658}, author = {Bouzbita, S. and Afia, A.E.} } @article {Mezouar2022317, title = {A Systematic Literature Review of Machine Learning Applications in Software Engineering}, journal = {Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems}, volume = {489 LNNS}, year = {2022}, note = {cited By 0}, pages = {317-331}, abstract = {Machine Learning (ML) has been a concern in Software Engineering (SE) over the past years. Indeed, the proposed approach was modelled as a classifier method to control the convergence through the dynamic adaptation of the α parameter that weighs the relative influence of the pheromone. The implementation was tested on several Travelling Salesman Problem~(TSP) instances with different number of cities. The proposed approach was compared with the standard ACS and the existing fuzzy logic~in the literature. health system activity. Their contribution to improving the health status is vital. To ensure sound management of the pharmaceutical products logistics (orders, delivery, storage and distribution), a new procurement strategy has been adopted by Morocco in 2012. This strategy is based on a centralized procurement, by which the purchase is grouped by anticipation (the budget for the year in progress / the exercise of the following year), and a decentralized storage and distribution allowing the territory stratification in eight regional depots: Berrechid, Oujda, Al-Hoceima, Laayoune, Agadir, Marrakech, Meknes and Tangier. The challenges this environment is facing justify the focus on this research subject, and the contribution of this work includes a global mapping of the Moroccan supply chain of hospital drugs, and a simulation of the dispensation process comparing the global and the nominative dispensation. {\textcopyright} 2017 Association for Computing Machinery.}, doi = {10.1145/3090354.3090465}, url = {https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85028455352\&doi=10.1145\%2f3090354.3090465\&partnerID=40\&md5=fbdb2614d215837a4276397094cfd697}, author = {Afia, A.E. and Mezouar, H.} } @article {Afia20179997, title = {Hidden markov model control of inertia weight adaptation for Particle swarm optimization}, journal = {IFAC-PapersOnLine}, volume = {50}, number = {1}, year = {2017}, note = {cited By 0}, pages = {9997-10002}, abstract = {Particle swarm optimization (PSO) is a stochastic algorithm based population that integrates social interactions of animals in nature. One of the main challenges within PSO is to balance between global and local search throughout the course of a run. To achieve this trade-off, various adaptive PSOs have been proposed in order to control the values of its parameters. The present paper makes an attempt to determine a generalized adaptive framework for the setting of the inertia weight parameter which is named HMM-wPSO. That is, a control mechanism of the inertia weight is proposed based on the estimation of states using hidden Markov model (HMM). We performed evaluations on ten benchmark functions to test the HMM control of inertia weight parameter for the PSO. Experimental results show that our proposed scheme outperforms other compared PSO variants in major cases in terms of solution accuracy and convergence speed. {\textcopyright} 2017}, doi = {10.1016/j.ifacol.2017.08.2030}, url = {https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85031775272\&doi=10.1016\%2fj.ifacol.2017.08.2030\&partnerID=40\&md5=3e5c7fac9adf59cd9559143a77cf11ab}, author = {Afia, A.E. and Sarhani, M. and Aoun, O.} } @conference {Sarhani2016, title = {Particle swarm optimization with a mutation operator for solving the preventive aircraft maintenance routing problem}, booktitle = {Proceedings of the 3rd IEEE International Conference on Logistics Operations Management, GOL 2016}, year = {2016}, note = {cited By 0}, abstract = {Aircraft Maintenance Routing (AMR) is one of the major optimization problems in the airline industry.
