@conference {Afyf20141475, title = {A novel miniaturized UWB antenna for microwave imaging}, booktitle = {International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems -Proceedings}, year = {2014}, note = {cited By 3}, pages = {1475-1478}, abstract = {A compact UWB planar antenna fed with a microstrip-line is proposed. The new design is composed of a square patch with a small size of 26 mm {\texttimes} 20 mm. with three rectangular slots and fed by 50 microstrip transmission line and a reduced ground-plane which have a T-shaped slot. It is intended to be used in Microwave Imaging applications that cover the ultra-wideband (UWB) frequency band. A wider bandwidth of around 3.98 - 17.26GHZ with stable radiation pattern is achieved. The proposed antenna has excellent characteristics, low profile and cost-effective compared to existing UWB antennas. The UWB antenna is designed and analyzed using CST Microwave Studio and HFSS software in transient mode to verify antenna parameters improvements. {\textcopyright} 2014 IEEE.}, doi = {10.1109/ICMCS.2014.6911396}, url = {https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-84928738029\&doi=10.1109\%2fICMCS.2014.6911396\&partnerID=40\&md5=86bd1b82f5e31de785dab59387bf649f}, author = {Afyf, A. and Bellarbi, L.} }
