Towards a generic composition of specific domain models

Systems become complex and no more restricted to one specific domain. So, it is impracticable to describe the whole system by one model. This leads to resolve the problem of composing the domain models described by the system. In this context, this article proposes a new approach for composing specific domain models. First, we analyze some related works. On the basis of the key findings and conclusions drawn from the analysis, we propose a multidimensional approach based on the composition of crosscutting concerns contained in the source domain models. © 2013 IEEE.
