Abstract

With the increasing use of wireless communication technologies, it is important to monitor electromagnetic exposure, ideally with high temporal and spatial resolutions. This paper presents our low-cost electro-smog measurement process, covering hardware selection, RF power measurement, and RF power correction. Then, a time series analysis is performed on the electromagnetic exposure data collected in the city of Sala Al Jadida - Morocco for seven days. The results show that the electro-smog exposure has a strong predictable pattern and a preliminary time series model is derived. © 2021 IEEE.
