Green cognitive radio networks by using coalitional game approach in partition form

Green energy in cognitive radio (CR) network is capable of liberating the networkfrom energy constraints, the energy is lost when CR users sense and utilize the unused spectrum for data communications. Green energy in CR increases the network availability and so prolongs developing network applications. The CR network performances seriously based on exploiting the available spectrum without losing energy and wasting time. In our work, a coalitional game approach is applied to enhance system performances, we study the coalitional formation process in partition form with transferable utility (TU). In our paper a new coalition value formula is proposed based on the data transmission rate and energy efficiency. Our approach uses the Shapley value to evaluate the users utilities in coalitions. We use a strategic learning algorithm to learn the Nash equilibrium, a theoretical proof of convergence is defined. Finally, we provide numerical results to validate the proposed approach.
