Abstract

One of the challenging issues for Filter Bank Multicarrier (FBMC) systems is their high Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) which leads to the saturation of the high power amplifiers and consequently increases the out of band power. In this paper, we evaluate different FBMC PAPR reduction techniques and especially analyze the impact of the prototype filter length/overlapping factor on their performances.
